Description:
The Pipeline Engineer supports the company Pipeline Corrosion & Integrity Engineer in day to day inspection, maintenance and repair activities of company offshore pipelines.

Responsibilities:
Day to day activities:
* Propose Plan & Schedule of Offshore Pipeline Inspection, Maintenance and Repair Activities.
  1. Raise work orders using Computerized Inspection Management System –Credo- for the pipeline inspection, maintenance and repair works.
  2. Discuss with relevant contractors regarding the organization and the management of pipeline works (work duration, resources, mobilization, release order issuance, etc.).
* Assist for the execution of Offshore Pipeline Inspection, Maintenance and Repair Activities.
  1. Follow-up pipeline contractor work (offshore and onshore) and findings.
  2. Receive and review contractor reports (time confirmation, failure records etc).
* Analyze pipeline inspection report issued by contractors / vendors. Submit comments to Pipeline Corrosion & Integrity Engineer.
* Revise and update the pipeline system data in Credo (Computerized Inspection Management System).
* Carry out daily monitoring of gas and oil corrosion inhibitor injection at TML’s offshore facilities, and advise the offshore chemist on injection adjustments if necessary to maintain the required rate.
* Check Daily laboratory analysis; highlight any non conformance of analysis.
* Study pipeline corrosion issues (e.g. ‘top of the line’ corrosion) and assist Pipeline Corrosion & Integrity Engineer during TML’s corrosion mitigation strategy development when necessary.
* Assist on Pipeline, Corrosion Inhibition or Corrosion Monitoring projects (e.g. installation of sand monitoring probes, automatic corrosion inhibitor injection system, installation of new launcher / receivers, etc.).
* Assist Topside Integrity Engineers with corrosion issues.
* Review Corrosion Inhibition performance, Corrosion Monitoring performance, Review Maintenance Pigging performance on yearly basis. Update KPI, propose corrective actions.

Weekly Activities:
* Participate to Weekly Integrity Progress Meeting.

Qualifications:
* Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Requirements:
The job holder should have the following:
* 3 or more years of experience in the Oil & Gas Industry, and at least 1 year or more dealing with the pipeline integrity.
* Knowledge of Risk Based Inspection (RBI) for pipelines.
* Knowledge of codes and standards especially related to pipelines.
* Well versed in pipeline inspection techniques, corrosion inhibition and corrosion monitoring.
* Willing to travel on company platforms from time to time, for supervision of contractor works on offshore pipelines.
* Good communication skills.

Special Skills:
The job holder should hold special skills as follows:
* Proficient in using Computerized Inspection Management System and MS software (Office - Word and MS Excel).

Pipe Inspector

Pipeline Inspector inspects steel tubing, drill pipe, and other tubular oil well equipment for defects, using magnetic and optical inspection equipment.It also requires to position scanner (ring-shaped object containing induction coils) around pipe and connects wire to automatic graph recorder. Presses switch to start self-propelled scanner along pipe length and observes lines on graph that indicate location, type, and extent of metal blemishes, cracks, and molecular weakness. Inspects interior of pipe for surface imperfections, using optical instrument. Pipeline Inspector then need to report the finding to engineering personnel.

Requirements:

Pipeliner

Pipeliner or pipeline maintenance crew general duties are maintain and repair pipelines, pumping stations and storage tanks. Pipeliners work covering large stretches of pipeline that are located between pumping stations. Their routine includes application of anti-corrosive material onto pipeline systems, pipeline painting, remove grit and rust via sand blasting and ensuring pipe fittings are sound and free of leakage. It is a must for a pipeliner to know how to lay pipeline and position pipeline equipment such as fittings, pumps, valves, pipes.

Requirements:
  1. Repairs pipeline leaks.
  2. Installs and paints right-of-way signs and markers.
  3. Does general maintenance of station grounds such as mowing, trimming, and cutting weeds.
  4. Loads and unloads heavy materials related to pipeline equipment.
  5. Operates vehicles like tractors, backhoes, bulldozers, pipe saws, hot-tap machines
